I took this course with Rebecca Norman, during the 2010, Spring Semester. There was a lot of reading and only a few assignments. They all centered on reading and comprehension skills of the students. We had to post an essay about the readings in ANGEL and respond to two others. We also performed a mock "case study" of two chosen students' abilities in reading. For my term assignment, I performed a middle school level, PowerPoint creative writing lesson. The children had to develop characters, write a story about them, and fill the presentation with images (making sure to cite where applicable).
